Overview

The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh are delighted to announce they will be running the next Annual Faculty of Surgical Trainers conference.  This Half day online afternoon conference focuses on Evidence-Based Training in medical education. It features expert speakers discussing the importance of evidence-based practices, exploring curricula from abroad, and sharing real-life experiences in training.  The conference will be led by Professor Alexander Phillips and joined by our very committed FST Executive

 

Target Audience

This half day conference is aimed at Medical Students through to Consultants

Introduce and emphasize the significance of evidence-based training in surgical education

To explore international curriculum approaches and their effectiveness

To provide insights into the practical aspects of implementing evidence-based training

To facilitate discussion and knowledge sharing among participants and experts in the field

If you wish to attend, please do ensure that you have booked on by 4PM on the 1st of December.  After this time has passed, bookings will be closed and you will not be able to register for this event

 

This half day conference will be ran via Zoom.  Therefore, we advise the following:

1) All candidates must have a MAC / PC with admin access to install Zoom
2) All candidates must ensure that they have a strong broadband/internet connection

 

As per the programme, the day will begin at 1.30PM UK time and will finish at 4PM UK TIme (please note that this time is subject to change, however any changes made to the schedule will be communicated to all those booked on)
