Overview
Following the resounding success of SAS LED conference 2024, RCSEd presents another highly informative and productive meeting this year. Celebrating the SAS Week 2025, RCSEd organises this event that epitomises everything the college stands for and aims to cover topics for development of this vital workforce, complete with exciting speakers, thought- provoking & interactive workshops. Join us at RCSEd’s new Birmingham Centre on October 24, 2025, a must for every SAS/LED colleague!

Aims & Objectives
Experts will aim to update delegates with changes to the Portfolio Pathway and the evidence collection process, provide updated information on appointment to Specialist Grades and discuss ways to empower SAS LED surgeons and dentists to achieve their career aspirations. Dean of Examination, RCSEd will provide an update on Surgical examination and how to apply to be an Examiner. Delegates will also learn crucial Roles of Patient safety and Human factors in Surgical and Dentistry practice. Through workshops, RCSEd aims to provide practical tips on how to collect and collate evidence and improve chances of successful application for Portfolio Pathway, ways to enhance your Educator and Examiner portfolio as well as champion Patient Safety by embedding Human factors and systems thinking into routine clinical practice.
