The Fellowship and Membership in Dental Surgery of RCSEd's Faculty of Dental Surgery (FDS) are highly respected across the globe as a market of professional excellence in the field of dentistry. These awards are usually awarded by examination.
However, the Faculty also has the power to award the Fellowship and Membership in Dental Surgery without Examination. Every year we receive many hundreds of requests of FDS RCSED without examination. There are three ways in which this award may be bestowed, as set out in our College Laws and Regulations.
