We are delighted to announce our newest Organisation Member, Medilink International. Medilink International bring over two decades of expertise delivering remote area medical services in a wide range of healthcare systems and contexts. This organisation is a welcome addition to our community of best practice, demonstrating our shared common values and bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Medilink International join the Faculty as a foundation organisation member and will support the Faculty as we continue to grow and develop our foundations.
Medilink International is a specialist medical support services company looking after the health and wellbeing of individuals working in challenging environments such as offshore installations, remote locations, and rough geophysical terrain. Headquartered on the central Mediterranean island of Malta, Medilink has been offering a portfolio of medical services to clients for nearly three decades.
Medilink conducts training programmes to remote and non-remote medical professionals in various locations all over the world to ensure that these professionals have the necessary knowledge, skills and certifications based on international industry standards.
Medilink is very focused in the development and implementation of community health projects in various rural areas for clients such as governments, NGOs, and corporate clients. Medilink’s projects include setting up community clinics, vaccination programmes, and health education programmes in areas and audiences that need these the most.
Medilink shares the same commitment with the Faculty in developing and delivering high quality standards for remote, rural and humanitarian healthcare and we look forward to collaborating with such an experienced organisation that shares our vision.
