UK-Med and RCSEd Signal Intent to Further Professionalise Humanitarian Healthcare

The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd) and UK-MED have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), setting out their mutual commitment to collaboration and exploration of future opportunities under the shared aim of setting, improving, and recognising standards in humanitarian healthcare.

NGOs Bridge2Aid and Smileawi have collaborated with The Dental Association of Malawi, and Malawian Ministry of Health to plan a pilot project. The project aims to train medical assistants in rural areas to promote oral health and to provide simple emergency dentistry.
