Join us for the third instalment of our 3-part robotic mini series, developed by the British Hernia Society in collaboration with RCSEd, in which we will review the key principles of robotic ventral hernia surgery.
Aims
To provide an overview of the principles of minimally invasive ventral and incisional hernia surgery.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this webinar, attendees should be able to:
- Understand the indications for minimally invasive hernia surgery and possible treatment algorithms
- Learn how to position patients and place ports for robotic ventral hernia repairs, including pearls and pitfalls
- Understand the principles of pre-peritoneal hernia repairs, including the regional anatomy
- Understand the principles of retromuscular hernia repairs, including the regional anatomy
- Review the indications and steps of a robotic posterior component separation.
