Overview
HPB surgery frequently involves complex decision-making around diagnosis, operative timing, and intra-operative strategy. This webinar will focus on developing effective clinical assessment and sound surgical judgment to tackle commonly tested scenarios and critical decision points encountered in the FRCS examination.
Aims
To learn the key principles in the assessment and surgical management of patients with common HPB conditions. To outline practical decision-making in complex hepatobiliary and pancreatic cases, with a focus on FRCS exam preparation.

By the end of this webinar, attendees should be able to:
- Outline the principles of assessment and initial management of patients with common HPB pathologies
- Be better prepared for FRCS stations focusing on the diagnosis, investigation, and operative decision-making in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery
- Confidently approach common HPB scenarios encountered in both clinical practice and the FRCS examination.
