Overview

This webinar, organised by the RCSEd Neurosurgery Surgical Specialty Board, will provide an overview on the most relevant publications in the field of adult and paediatric neurotrauma.

Aims

This webinar is meant to summarise the updates from the literature on the diagnostic and prognostic tools currently available for the management of traumatic brain injury patients. The webinar will explore the most recent classifications and the most relevant clinical trials undertaken in this neurosurgical subspecialty.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this webinar attendees will have a good understanding of the GCS-P score, the processes behind the designing and validating of the CNI-M and the new guidelines on penetrating traumatic brain injury. The attendees will also be able to apply those classifications in their daily practice in both adult and paediatric cases.
