Join us for our third session in the “Beyond the Scalpel” series focusing on sustainability in surgery by Dr Ross Lathan. The session focuses on developing sustainable surgical leadership that reduces environmental impact whilst maintaining patient care. This session will provide the groundwork for pioneering an inclusive, sustainable and innovative future in surgical healthcare.
Aims
This webinar on sustainability in surgery aims to provide up to date knowledge of sustainability which is critical to modern surgical practice.

Dr Ross Lathan
Vascular Surgery Registrar / NHSE Chief Sustainability Officer Fellow
Ross is an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Vascular Surgery. His research interests include surgical site infection, evaluating innovative diagnostic strategies, prevention measures and sustainable and environmental impact analysis. He is the Chief Sustainability Officer’s Clinical Fellow.
