This webinar will provide a summary of neurodiversity, focussing mainly on Autism and ADHD and how we can help our patients adapt to or overcome the challenges that they can face whilst having dental treatment carried out, with practical tips. Boosting outcomes for the patient and clinical teams. This webinar is aimed at general dentistry and specialties that do not routinely treat neurodiverse patients but will also provide a refresher for those who do.

Julie Edwards

Consultant in Special Care Dentistry, Patient Outcome Lead Dental, King's College Hospital.   

Julie Edwards has been working in the field of Special Care Dentistry for 20 years, ten of those years as a Consultant at King’s College Hospital. She has worked in various locations across primary and secondary care. She has a particular interest in providing dentistry for Neurodiverse patients and strive to improve their experiences and outcomes. It is through education, understanding and change that we can make a difference together.
