Overview
With over 15,000 video consultations (VCs) happening each week in Scotland this webinar will explore how healthcare professionals can use the medium effectively. We will cover governance arrangements, tips and tricks and how you can use VC to train and mentor professional colleagues and medical students. We have a star line up and the session will be interactive and entertaining.

Clare Morrison
Clare is National Near Me Lead at the Scottish Government. Near Me is a video consulting service used across health and care services in Scotland. By profession, Clare is a pharmacist. She is a Scottish Quality & Safety Fellow, a Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, and has been awarded an MBE for services to healthcare. -
Miss Charlotte K Gunner
Charlotte is a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Aberdeen, based in Inverness, ST4 Urology Surgical Trainee at NHS Highland, and Master’s Student (MSc in Clinical Education) at The University of Edinburgh. She has recently submitted her MSc dissertation on teaching video consultation skills to medical students. - Dr Idris Thomas
Idris is a locum Consultant Psychiatrist working in NHS Lothian, and has been involved in establishing telepsychiatry clinics in the Highlands since 2018. He has been the lead author on a national policy for telepsychiatry in Scotland, and has worked with TEC to develop quick reference guides in this field to aid the national role out of video consultations.
