Overview
This webinar will provide prospective candidates of the Part B Membership in Orthodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh examination in China and India the opportunity to learn about the process of the exam and how to prepare effectively.

- 16:00 - The Mechanics cases - What to expect and how to prepare.
- 16:20 - The communication section - What to expect and how to prepare.
- 17:00 - The communication OSCE simulated best and worst practice.
- 17:15 - Q&A Session.
Aims
The aim of this webinar is to:
- Provide an overview of the process of the Part B MOrth examination.
- Highlight areas for study and exam preparation for the Part B Morth.
- Provide experience of a typical diagnostic and mechanics type case.
- Highlight poor communication traits to avoid during the examination.

- Prepare effectively for the diagnostic and mechanics sections of the Part B MOrth.

Panellists
Our panellists include:

John Scholey - John is a Consultant orthodontist and clinical lead at the Royal Stoke University hospital in Stoke-on-Trent UK. He is the current lead examiner and chair of the speciality advisory board in orthodontics of the Royal college of surgeons of Edinburgh and a member of dental council. He teaches on a number of postgraduate programmes around the UK and is principally linked to the Birmingham postgraduate training programme. He has lectured widely across the world and examined for the college for more than 20 years.

Richard Cure - Richard Cure, Dental Council Member, Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, is Associate Clinical Professor, Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Head of Dentistry Studies, and Clinical and Course Director of Orthodontics at the University of Warwick and Head of Orthodontics at Peninsula Dental School, University of Plymouth. He is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a Fellow of the Faculty of Dental Trainers, a NHS England orthodontics advisor and a GDC Education Associate. He examines for the College at MOrth, MFDS and MAGDS.

Colin Melrose - Colin is a Consultant Orthodontist based in the Northwest of England. He has extensive experience of Postgraduate Orthodontic Training on the Liverpool Orthodontic Training Program. He ran a busy training unit at the Countess of Chester Hospital for many years specifically focused on both training for the MOrth examination and also higher training to Consultant level. Colin is a Lead Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh with 25 years of examiner experience. He is Course Director for the MOrth Process Course. Colin is also on the Specialty Advisory Board for the MOrth at the Edinburgh College.
