Overview
Locally advanced and recurrent rectal cancer management is challenging and requires careful consideration including multiple disciplines and MDT approach. This webinar will aim to cover aspects of radiology, oncology and surgery to optimise the best available treatment as well as considering treatment related morbidity.
Aims
Aim is to discuss principles of multimodal management of locally advanced and recurrent rectal cancer at FRCS level and beyond.

- Understand the pre-operative assessment of locally advanced and recurrent rectal cancer
- Understand the principle of radiology, oncology and surgery in the management of advanced and recurrent rectal cancer
- Understand management and MDT principle at tertiary referral specialist centre
- Understand complications and expectations following radical treatment.
