This webinar, delivered by experts in the field. will provide an overview and update on the latest techniques used in paediatric hand surgery.

Aims and Learning Objectives

Describe the Salter–Harris classification (Types I–V) and relate each type to physeal anatomy.
Recognise Salter–Harris fractures of the paediatric hand on clinical assessment and plain radiographs.
Assess fracture stability, displacement and rotational deformity to identify injuries requiring reduction or surgical management.
Formulate an appropriate management plan, including immobilisation, closed reduction, fixation.
Identify and monitor complications of physeal injury, particularly growth arrest, angular deformity, malunion and joint incongruity.
