Overview
This webinar, delivered by experts in the field of plastic surgery, will provide an overview of upper limb nerve injuries and palsy, including the key anatomy and classifications, as well as discussing reconstructive and rehab strategies for established nerve palsy.
Aims and Learning Objectives
By the end of this webinar, attendees should be able to:
- Understand the key anatomy and functional assessment of upper limb brachial plexus and peripheral nerves.
- Recognise and classify upper limb nerve injuries.
- Perform a structured clinical assessment and order appropriate investigations
- Outline principles and timing of nerve repair, nerve grafting and nerve transfer.
- Discuss reconstructive and rehab strategies for established nerve palsy e.g. tendon transfers.
