Join us for an insightful one-hour webinar, ‘Sleep Apnoea and Its Management from the Surgical and Dental Perspectives,’ where leading experts explore the multidisciplinary approach to Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA). An experienced otorhinolaryngologist who is also an RCSEd’s International Surgical Ambassador will provide an overview of OSA diagnosis and treatment options, with a particular focus on surgical management. Complementing this, a Consultant Orthodontist will share perspectives from the dental field, offering a holistic view of patient care and collaborative management of sleep apnoea.
Aims
This webinar aims to enhance understanding of OSA through multidisciplinary insights. Participants will gain a clearer perspective on diagnosis, surgical and dental management approaches and the importance of collaborative care in improving patient outcomes.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this webinar, participants will gain a clear understanding of OSA including its causes, diagnosis and multidisciplinary management. They will explore surgical and dental treatment options, learn how to identify appropriate interventions based on clinical indications and appreciate how collaborative approaches between surgeons and dental specialists can enhance treatment planning, patient care and long-term outcomes.
