Managing Pheochromocytoma

Overview
Pheochromocytomas are rare tumours (average GP will encounter only one case during their careers) yet they represent a third of the patients undergoing adrenal surgery.
This webinar will describe the diagnosis, investigation and treatment of these tumours.

Mr Radu Mihai
Radu Mihai is a Consultant Endocrine Surgeon at the Oxford University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and a Honorary Clinical Lecturer in the Nuffield Department of Surgery. He is an examiner for the European Board in Endocrine Surgery (2008- ) and a Director of Research for the European Association of Endocrine Surgeons (ESES) (2011-2018). He published over 90 peer-reviewed papers, 35 chapters in books, over 100 presentations to national and international meetings (details on www.radumihai.info).
He was rewarded by the Royal College of Surgeons with the title of Hunterian Professor of Surgery (2008).
Mr Michael Silva
Michael Silva is a Consultant Hepatobiliary, Pancreatic (HPB) and General Surgeon at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Mr Silva is the Training Programme Director for Higher Surgical Trainees (General Surgery) in the Oxford Deanery - Health Education England - Thames Valley.
Mr Silva is Director of the Surgical Advisory Network in the UK for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He also was Regional Surgical Advisor for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh for Oxfordshire from 2013-2017. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and is also a Clinical Lecturer at Worcester College, Oxford University.
