Panellists
Our panellists include:
- Professor Gerald Lip - Gerald Lip is a Consultant Radiologist and Director of the Breast Screening Centre at the North East of Scotland Screening Centre. He is Professor at the University of Aberdeen, Head of AI in Medicine, and President of the British Society of Breast Radiology. His work focuses on the application of artificial intelligence in medical education and clinical practice, particularly in breast imaging, with an emphasis on patient safety, workforce development, and the responsible adoption of new technologies
- Mr Manoj Kumar (Moderator) - Consultant General and Upper GI Surgeon and Education Lead for the Patient Safety Committee at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He has completed executive training in AI in Health Care from Harvard Medical School, with a strong background in Human Factors and a particular interest in the safe and responsible implementation of AI and emerging technologies in clinical practice.
