This new webinar series will provide bite size basic science lectures covering the fundamentals of basic sciences from across the FRCS Trauma and Orthopaedic Curriculum. These will be interactive lectures from seasoned educators with the opportunity to engage in discussions with a Q&A session.
The second webinar in the series will cover the basic principles of biomaterials, wear, corrosion and failure.
Aims
To provide participants with the opportunity to develop understanding of the core concepts of the basic sciences underpinning trauma and orthopaedics.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this webinar, the participant should be able to explain the core basic sciences underpinning each of the following and link them to relevant clinical scenarios and practices:
